If I had to describe myself I would go like this: “A highly curious person, always looking for very stimulating challenges”.
I graduated in Economics, got a MSc in International Management and focused my interest on Digital businesses. After having completed my studies, I changed industry three times, moving from Gaming to Digital Advertising to Tourism. I am an incredible supporter of the power of the Internet to simplify people lives and create new opportunities for everyone. The areas where I gained most of my knowledge and expertise up to now are: business development, sales & marketing, digital advertising, coaching and people management.
During my free, post pandemic, time, I've co-founded a Startup with 2 friends and an Angel Investor. Our mission was to deliver the best social network in town for events: KeeWeek. As Chief Revenue Officer I've been responsible of:
- Design and execute customers' acquisition strategy, from Lead generation to Closing
- Manage a team of 3 "hunters", setting quarterly targets, fine-tuning the sale pitch, shadowing and coaching them in joint market visits in Rome and Milan
- Contribute to App development and User Journey design, acting as bridge between tech and business
It has been a great journey, where I've adapted learnings from my experience in a multinational company to a startup environment. Working with close friends has been stimulating and challenging, and it allowed me to improve soft and hard skills (negotiating with internal stakeholders, leading an acquisition team).
"Hunter" within newly formed Join Expedia Team. My main tasks were related to:
- Negotiate deals and contracts successfully with a win-win approach either via cold calling and face to face meetings
- Spend at least 30% ot my time on field for acquisition market visits, being in charge of several Italian territories: Tuscany, Umbria and Apulia
- Set the stage for a long lasting partnership acting as bridge with the Account Management team during the first 6 months of collaboration
I've worked within the Business Unit KKadX, Neomobile branch operating in the digital advertising industry, specifically in the Video Advertising Market. Neomobile has been re-branded into Digital Go, thenD-go.
- Analyze Publishers' performances, producing weekly and monthly KPIs analysis
- POC between clients and the internal tech team
- Scouting new Publishers, handling account acquisition, negotiating terms and conditions of the partnership
As Product Owner and Business Developer, I've been in charge of the two international brands of ASAP Italia S.r.l. network: Bettingrunner and Sportito. ASAP Italia S.r.l. used to operate in the gaming industry and has been acquired by Catena Media. My responsibilities and duties were:
- Manage budgets allocated to ASAP international brands business development, making sure spend was optimized at all times
- Plan, measure and execute digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
- Collaborate with internal tech team to optimize user experience and conversion, identifying trends and insights among users through Google Analytics
