QGIS
Dynamic geographer with strong expertise in geospatial data management, topographic surveying, and technical reporting at ENAV. Skilled in GIS and CAD tools, with hands-on experience in maintaining corporate geodetic networks, producing aeronautical obstacle charts, and ensuring high data quality standards for critical infrastructure.
Deeply interested in Earth observation and environmental and territorial dynamics, with a solid academic background in seismic hazard, landscape analysis, and heritage geography. Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments and with institutional stakeholders, combining analytical precision with a multidisciplinary approach to spatial data and land management.
Continuation of the research work started for the Bachelor's thesis. Update of the CFTI5Med geodatabase through the inclusion of new information on earthquake-induced environmental effects related to the 1997 Umbria–Marche seismic sequence. The data was obtained through the analysis of new documentary sources or reinterpreted materials previously used only for anthropic impact studies.
Georeferencing of historical maps and development of geographic data from those sources using QGIS and Excel, aimed at producing a digital cartographic representation for integration into the catalogue, accompanied by detailed annotations.
Worked well in a team setting, providing support and guidance.
Awarded a research scholarship as a thesis student for participation in the Italo-Uzbek archaeological mission at the Kafir Kala site, within the KALAM project. Research objective: rethinking the understanding and study of ancient landscapes through innovative methods for their documentation, conservation, and management.
Conducted face-to-face interviews with local communities through an interpreter and translator, using English and Uzbek languages.
Implementation and population of a GIS-based georeferenced map database, including both surface and subsurface geological maps retrieved from public sources and online archives.
Activities included map identification, raster file creation, georeferencing, and assignment of metadata for proper classification.
The project supported the DISS and EDSF seismogenic fault databases of the INGV, and contributed to the development of a reference database for the SISMOLAB-3D seismic reflection laboratory.
