• I am responsible for the structuring and development of Illumia’s Gas Trading Desk, with full accountability for gas sourcing, trading activities, and new business development across the European gas market.

• I lead the definition and execution of the gas procurement strategy, managing both physical and financial trading operations on the main European hubs (TTF, PEG, PSV, THE), with the objective of ensuring competitive supply, portfolio flexibility, and security of delivery.

• I oversee the build-out of the desk’s operational and analytical infrastructure, including pricing models, risk management frameworks, reporting systems, and quantitative decision-support tools for hedging, arbitrage, and volatility management.

• In parallel, I am actively involved in the development of new business initiatives in natural gas and renewable gases, evaluating new markets, assets, contractual structures, and industrial partnerships.

I work closely with senior management, risk management, origination, and commercial teams to align trading strategies with the Group’s industrial objectives and long-term growth plan.

• Managed daily gas trading operations across multiple European markets, optimizing profitability and ensuring compliance.

• Coordinating short and medium term market analysis activities for the Energy Management Italy Area, developing price and demand forecasts for the power and gas Italian markets in order to support trading and hedging strategies for the industrial portfolios.
• Monitoring oil, fx, power, gas, equities and macro dynamics in order to identify opportunities for the Italian Industrial Portfolio.
• Coordinating Weather scenarios to support the Energy Management Italy and Front Office Areas.
