As a QA Specialist and Automation Tester on a PSD2 (Payment Services Directive 2) project, I ensure the highest standards of quality, security, and compliance in financial applications that enable secure online payments. My role involves a blend of manual and automated testing to validate the robustness of payment systems and their alignment with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement detailed test strategies and plans tailored to the unique requirements of PSD2, ensuring all aspects of the directive, including Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) and open banking, are thoroughly tested.
• Automation Testing: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage. Utilize tools such as Katalon to automate repetitive tasks and ensure consistent results.
• Manual Testing: Conduct comprehensive manual testing to address scenarios that require human judgment, such as user experience, accessibility, and edge cases not covered by automation.
• Defect Management: Identify, document, and manage defects using tools like JIRA or similar platforms. Work closely with developers to resolve issues, retesting as necessary to confirm fixes are effective.
• Agile Team Collaboration: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Contribute to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline testing processes.

At the Competence Center in Turin, I serve as a Front-End Developer specialized in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular. My primary focus is on the development of web, mobile, and desktop applications.
