Overall responsibility for the entire technical operations and equipment onboard, including engineering, electrical and mechanical divisions.  Ensuring that all systems and equipment of every sub division of the technical department are operating correctly and are maintained to the highest possible standards in order to support the safe navigation of the ship. That all are in accordance with Company policies, any National or International standards and in compliance with Public Health or any other prescribed regulations. Comply with the Company’s safety and pollution prevention regulations and operating procedures.  Ensures proper coordination with different technical parties and cooperation with all ship’s departments.  Dry Dock experience at Tandanor Buenos Aires Argentina. The largest Syncrolift, with a lifting platform of 184 × 32.9 m with a lifting capacity of 15,000 tonnes and a transfer capacity of 11,700 t, which allow it to operate with vessels of up to 55,000 t
deadweight and approximately 220 m in length .Makes machinery available for survey by the Classification society and, if authorized by Class, carrying out items of Continuous Survey Machinery according to Class recognized procedures

Responsible for elaborating and maintaining the machinery dry dock defect list, working together with the superintendent to provide any additional information required. • Collaboration with surveyors for class approval and certification. • Provided technical leadership for company to effectively steer strategic plans and future projects. • Provided technical direction on mechanical projects and initiatives to other engineers, designers and technicians. • Monitored working environment, making sure it was always safe, positive setting for all employees. • Resolved technical issues by troubleshooting. • Read blueprints, schematics and technical drawings.

Responsible to the Chief Engineer for administration and supervision Of the Engineering Department, in charge of: All daily planned and preventive maintenance, and for any other necessary repairs concerning equipment installed on board and structural.

Overview the spare parts and the consumables requisitions prepared by the Engineering Officers in charge Together with the Engineering Officers, check that all the spare parts and the

consumables requisitions received are as requested

Ensures that all Engineering Officers update the maintenance and inventory records in Infoship

Ensures that CCL's Environmental Protection Policy is strictly enforced.

Ensure that safety working

conditions are followed at all time by the engine department

Personally supervise any work that is potentially hazardous and see that all safety precautions are observed (i.e. Hot Work Permits)

Ensure that all aspects of company's
Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) Policy and Procedures are effectively applied during working
activities assigned at all times. Ensure that personnel under my supervision follow all the guidelines regarding Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) Policy and
Procedures at all times. Participate, and ensure as well, the involvement and support of my
subordinates as required by SMS Procedure.The St Ch Engineer is the second in command for the administration and supervision of the Engineering Department, and is responsible for all daily planned and preventive maintenance and for any other necessary repairs concerning equipment and machinery installed on board such as Power Plant, fire- fighting and lifesaving apparatus, and overviews the spare parts and consumable requisitions The St Ch
Engineer in consultation with the Ch. Engineer will plan the work to be done by the engines force so that precedence will be given to items
most necessary for safety preservation. The St Ch Engineer makes daily inspections paying particular attention to the safety condition of the ship.
