Optical Transmission Back-office Senior Engineer

  • As a Transmission back-office engineer, I was responsible for operation and maintenance of the telecommunication network, handling and resolving any service affecting issues happening accordingly
  • Checking the functionality and connection of all nodes in the network and working with other teams for any mutual problems
  • Updating the network topology, performing hardware and software check of transmission devices and if needed, upgrading and backing them up
  • Using fiber optic fault locator devices such as OTDR, power source and power meter
