Master's Degree Thesis
Title: "Energy-expenditure of programs generated by modern AI"

The thesis project aims to evaluate the energy efficiency of programs generated by modern LLMs (ChatGPT, Gemini, Llama, etc...) and compare it with that of humans. The analysis was performed on a dataset of problems solvable through pieces of Python code, of which the solutions proposed by expert programmers were provided. One of the results of the experiments was the close correlation between the quality of the prompts provided to the AIs and the efficiency of the answers.
