Conducted under the supervision of Prof. Antonia Follenzi and Prof. Cristina Olgasi at the Histology Laboratory, Novara (Palazzo Bellini).

• Focused on the molecular and cellular characterization of Hermansky–Pudlak Syndrome type 1 (HPS-1), emphasizing the role of the HPS1 gene and the BLOC-3 complex in intracellular trafficking and immune function;
• Investigated functional consequences of HPS1 mutations on lysosome-related organelles and immune-related cellular pathways;
• Generated and maintained iPSC cultures, and derived models for experimental studies;
• Performed gene expression analysis (RT-PCR, qPCR) and molecular cloning techniques;
• Conducted protein analysis through Western Blot;
• Applied immunofluorescence microscopy to evaluate protein localization and cellular phenotypes.

• I worked on an experimental thesis under the guidance of Professor Cotella in the Applied Biology laboratory of Novara, at Palazzo Bellini;
• The thesis was about cloning and expression of isopentenyl diphosphate;
• The objective of my thesis work was to clone the IDI coding sequence in the inducible expression vector pET30 and to verify its correct overexpression in E. Coli bacteria.

• I worked at several Milanese museums such as Mudec, Palazzo Reale and the Archaeological Museum, learning to collaborate with colleagues in order to manage works of art and supervise visitors, allowing me to learn to interact in close contact with the public.
