MA student in Linguistics at the University of Verona, with a primary interest in historical linguistics, historical-comparative linguistics, and the cross-linguistic study of predication. My current research examines copular and non-verbal predication across languages, with case-study chapters on Hittite, Luwian, and Persian. I am interested in how languages express predication with and without an overt copula, and how these structures can be compared from historical, morphosyntactic, and typological perspectives.
