General & Minimally Invasive Surgery
Extensive experience in open and laparoscopic procedures, including cholecystectomy, appendectomy, hernia repair (TAPP/TEP), and selected colorectal and small bowel surgery
Emergency and Acute Care Surgery
Management of abdominal emergencies such as acute abdomen, bowel obstruction, visceral perforation, intra-abdominal bleeding, abdominal sepsis, and trauma
Critical Decision-Making Under Pressure
Rapid assessment of unstable surgical patients and effective time-sensitive decision-making in emergency settings
Advanced Technical Surgical Skills
Proficient in laparoscopic instrumentation, intracorporeal suturing, use of energy devices for hemostasis, and emergency procedures (drain placement, central lines, FAST ultrasound)
Perioperative and Complex Patient Management
Comprehensive pre- and postoperative care, management of complications, surgical infections, and high-risk or fragile patients
Multidisciplinary Teamwork & Communication
Strong collaboration with anesthesiologists, intensivists, and radiologists; effective communication with patients and families, including in critical and urgent contexts
