As a waitress at MyDelhi Newcastle, from November 2023 to June 2024, I provided exceptional customer service, effectively managed multiple tasks, and developed strong problem-solving skills. I collaborated closely with kitchen staff and fellow waitstaff to ensure smooth operations, demonstrating excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment. This role enhanced my physical and mental stamina, as well as my ability to maintain a positive attitude during long shifts, ultimately contributing to increased customer satisfaction and repeat business. Additionally, I formed lifelong friendships with my colleagues, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Over the past two summers, I've proactively cultivated my catering skills by working as a waitress at The Kitchen Restaurant in Milan. This experience has been instrumental in enhancing my employability in several ways: handling customer inquiries allowed me to understand the critical significance of positive communication in fostering strong relationships between an organization and its clientele. It's in these interactions that I've grown my communication and assertiveness skills, learning how to confidently address customer concerns and ensure a positive dining experience. Additionally, in the bustling restaurant environment, I was responsible for greeting guests, taking precise meal orders, and facilitating seamless communication between the dining area and the kitchen. This role not only polished my leadership skills but also bolstered my confidence in managing a fast-paced service setting. My hands-on experience as a waitress has not only provided me with valuable skills but has also imparted a deep understanding of the pivotal role of customer service in the success of an establishment. My time at the summer camp was enriching, as it allowed me to broaden my skill set and gain valuable experiences in communication, organization, leadership, and child safety. This unique role exposed me to an entirely different aspect of customer service and interpersonal skills because I was entrusted with the vital task of creating a fun and safe environment for children attending our summer camp. This entailed a diverse set of duties, including: building connections, team collaboration, organizing tournaments and recreational activities, supervising and ensuring safety. I believe these experiences have not only expanded my employability but have also shaped me into a versatile professional, ready to excel in various customer-focused roles.
