Focused on Gender Studies, I dedicated my Master's dissertation to Lalla Romano's figure. This work became my first published essay in a Scientific Journal named «Oblio». This essay, titled Vedere per diventare Visibile. Ipotesi su un’ontologia dello sguardo in Lalla Romano, helps to focus the attention on the writer's visual predilection - exhibited first in canonical novels, then objective in late photographic novels - who integrates the visual act as a form of contestation against the secular male domination in writing and, at the same time, gives to her a prospective primacy denied elsewhere.
