Provide comprehensive product and platform engineering services that address full Multimedia (Video, Music, IoT & Gaming) technology stack throughout entire product lifecycle, delivering increased revenue and service levels. Lead technical aspects of service and content delivery platforms through entire user experience, including requirements for user terminal (STB, Smart TV, Tablet and Smartphone), Apps, distribution network (CDN, Public Cloud) and support system (dedicate SOC).

Set company's technical vision and lead all aspects of TIMB's (then Persidera) Broadcasting technology development; mainly: co-ordinate planning and development of Broadcasting Network, ensure adequate coverage to guarantee excellent reception of Digital and Analog networks, diagnose technical issues, plan and develop technical policies SLAs, oversees development of technical business plans, direct and provide leadership to technical department, defines and implement technical strategies for penetrating market place and manage broadcasting network performances.

Led team for Planning, Dimensioning, Site Engineering, Budget Preparation & Management, new technologies planning & acceptance testing for GSM, UMTS, LTE and Backhauling, guarantee QoS and customer satisfaction, and deploy related actions. Managed directly 4 TIM regions for Detailed Design, Site Engineering & Optimization activities and network delivery.

Achievements included:

• Deploying 3G Network starting with 3 different vendors and managing technology swap Huawei vs Siemens), Improvement of efficiency in Network Engineering Budget (around 500M€), Increasing of market share of Corporate Clients with new simplified processes.

Since March 1997, I have been working in TIM Italia, Network Division, Radio Access Network, Technologies & Engineering. The purpose of this activity was, based on Internal Customer requirements, to discover, evaluate, analyze innovative technologies and solutions, and then producing detailed reports and suggestions towards internal Senior Level Management. As final result of activity was to productize and support correct insertion of solutions in TIM Radio Access Network, both for 2G, 3G and alternative radio access technologies.

Achievements included:

• UMTS License Bid Preparation & License Acquisition, Preparation of tender for new UMTS vendors, Wireless Office Systems (dedicated GSM systems for corporate); Special projects for civil and armed forces, Railways and in-train coverage, GSM On Ship (GSM on cruise ships)
