Dana Halawani is an environmental health specialist with over five years of experience in the environmental services industry and environmental and public health research. Dana holds a master’s degree in environmental sciences and a bachelor’s degree in environmental health with a minor in Public Health from the American University of Beirut (AUB). She is currently working as Assistant Project Manager at ECODIT Liban.
Prior to joining ECODIT, she was a research assistant at the American University of Beirut (AUB) where she participated in and co-authored various peer-reviewed scientific papers on environmental, public, and occupational health issues. Currently at ECODIT, Dana has supported with the implementation of a wide range of environmental studies including IEEs, EIAs, EAs, SEAs, environmental strategies, workshop, training, and technical assistance to Clients. She is currently involved in and coordinating several projects related to water resources and wastewater management, solid waste management, environmental compliance of construction activities and industries and others.
