Mainly, my skills span across different areas:
-Design of biocompatible materials, biomimetic scaffolds, and drug delivery systems.
-Static and dynamic cell culture techniques. Methods for gene therapy and cellular therapy strategies.
-Biomimetic system design methods for regenerative medicine
Dedicated and astute with excellent communication skills. Enjoys maintaining cooperative working relationships with supervisors and peers. Well-developed analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
I was part of a research team at the Polytechnic University of Turin, where we designed a prototype of a bioreactor for periodontal ligament regeneration. Specifically, we started by creating 3D models using software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Subsequently, we made physical, mechanical, and biological considerations on the model to understand if the physiological environment had been accurately reproduced in vitro
The purpose of the course was to use programs such as Mimics, Rhinoceros, and Patran to discretize and characterize, through the finite element method, models of cancellous and cortical bone obtained from CT scans. Specifically my job was:
