I am working in as consultant at Experimental Test dpt. of Sangone Test Center of Avio Aero.

The main role is FEM analyst and testing of dynamic systems.

Main activities/responsibilities:

• Validation of measuring systems on a rotating LPT bladed disk for vibration monitoring
• Validation of an air-jet excitation system for a rotating LPT bladed disk
• Study of measuring system for clearance measurement on a rotating LPT bladed disk
• Blade Tip Timing (BTT) analysis and data post processing of experimental tests
• Installation, calibration and commissioning of BTT light probes
• Configuration of the data acquisition systems of the test cell (hardware and software)
• Real-time data monitoring during experimental tests at Spinning Bench
• Use of measurement instrument, sensors, transducer and signal conditioner
• Calibration of acquisition cards and measurement sensors (accelerometer, load cell, charge converter, pressure transducer)
• New hardware evaluation

Blade Tip-Timing, Measurement System Validation on Low Pressure Turbine Bladed Disk:

• Preparing of Experimental Set-up and Acquisition Chain for the test
• Real-time data monitoring during the test run
• Data Post Processing of the test run
• Numerical Simulations on FEM Model of Test Article
• Experimental-numerical comparison for system validation

Work in Team in Measurement Laboratory and Wind Tunnel:

• Installation of experimental set-up
• Configuration of acquisition chain
• Calibration of acquisition sensors
