Engineering Systems and Structures Team Leader

• Dealing with different department to define new projects and achieve company goals;
• Training new colleagues on department processes and procedures working on weaknesses and promoting strengths improving their skills;
• Responsible for the management of structural damages and aircraft systems failures;
• Support to the MRO to solve complex troubleshooting, structural repairs or defect rectification using approved maintenance manuals, flight data monitoring software or dealing with manufacturer to define next steps to follow,
• Evaluation and management of Service bulletins, Airworthiness Directives or any other aircraft improvement in terms of safety, costs and reliability;
• Definition and development of custom modification dealing with the Approved Design organization including New product tests and approval and planning for the application of such modification;
• Issuing of Engineering instructions for new maintenance limitations, repair instruction, failure rectification or fleet investigation supported by approved data or additional information when required;
• Developing maintenance procedures or technical information to support the MRO during operation or maintenance events;
• Landing gear acceptance and documents validation in support to the planning and technical records department;
• Technical field representative during maintenance events performed out of company organization;
• Involved in the process of phase-in of 17 A/C's carrying out A/C physical inspections and all necessary documental checks;
• Contracting discounted prices with vendors and claiming for warranty rights based on agreed contracts;
• Supporting company safety office to carry out technical investigation in relation to a maintenance occurrences\event;

SAP Key User within CAMO area since 2010

• Preparation of Engineering procedures and training to the office colleagues;
• Definition of new SAP features considering involved department requirements and test management with the approval of software enhancement;
• Continuing software improvement simplifying user experience reducing waste of time and possible human factor errors.

Project Manager for:

1) the new Digital Dent&Buckle

• Software tailoring on company need with new enhancement adopted by the software house;
• Lean approach to facilitate maintenance usage and reduce data entry time during AOG's situations;
• Test phase and data import validation;
• Training planning and procedures development.

2) Fleet Cabin restyling

• Product definition and on board test for validation;
• Design Modification definition and approval.
