I have developed a solid foundation in the field of microwaves and semiconductor devices. During my training, I had the opportunity to delve deeply into the physics of photovoltaic cells as well as the cutting-edge technologies used in the field, such as multi-junction structures. Furthermore, having worked in the field of photovoltaic system installation has certainly contributed to deepening an operational perspective that is very often lacking in a student's education.
In addition, I have a strong aptitude for studying microwave devices, and here too I was able to delve deeply, both through my undergraduate and graduate courses, in my first year of my master's degree. By including the laboratory experiences carried out during the courses, I was also able to operationally touch on the side relating to the calibration of guiding structures and microwave devices.
I have expertise in the MATLAB environment regarding transmission simulation and the implementation of transfer functions. During the laboratory activities I had the opportunity to simulate and implement FIR filters for signal processing and visualize their spectral trends.
I have often worked in a Python environment, which, thanks to my internship, I was also able to use to acquire and correct experimental data, which I was able to approach, in subsequent analyses, with fit techniques regarding the approximation of diffraction peaks using specific nonlinear functions.
Curricular internship carried out in the Department of Materials, Urban and Environmental Science and Engineering (SIMAU).
Study of the short-range positional order of conventional liquid crystals, for the investigation of mesomorphic phases of matter.
- calibration of strain gauge sensors in a MATLAB environment;
- implementation of conditioning circuits;
- Integration of a full measurement sequence using Arduino.
The Polimarche Racing Team is the racing team of the Polytechnic University of Marche that competes in the international Formula SAE championship. The objective of the competition is to design, build and bring to the track a race car, evaluated in terms of design, cost and performance during a series of static and dynamic tests.
