In my role as Welcome Team Coordinator, I was responsible for guiding and supporting new volunteers in their integration into the organization’s operations, with a focus on kitchen management and logistics. I provided training on food distribution practices and ensured volunteers understood the core values and mission of the NGO. Additionally, I managed accommodation arrangements for volunteers, ensuring a comfortable and well-organized living environment during their time in Calais. I collaborated with various teams to ensure that displaced people received consistent and timely support, all while fostering a positive and welcoming atmosphere for incoming volunteers.
