I am an Aerospace Engineering student with a strong interest in mechanical design and space systems. As Head of the Mechanical Subsystem for the CanSat Competition 2024/2025 (NASA/AAS, USA), I led the complete mechanical design of the probe, overseeing its structure, subsystem integration, and validation through analyses, tests, and recovery trials.
I am a member of the university Space Team, contributing to the development of structures and systems for educational and experimental missions, applying design and integration methodologies typical of aerospace engineering.
Member of the Mechanical Department of the Sapienza Space Team, where I work on the design and development of structures and subsystems for educational and experimental space projects. Activities include 3D CAD modeling, material selection, mechanical integration, and structural validation.
Additionally, I contribute to the internal management of the team, overseeing interview organization, the structure of shared folders, and operational coordination among department members to optimize workflow and technical communication.
Participation in the CanSat Competition 2024/2025 in the United States, organized by NASA and AAS, focused on the design, construction, and launch of a mini-satellite (CanSat) capable of performing a scientific and technical mission during a rocket-probe controlled descent.
As Head of the Mechanical Subsystem, I coordinated the entire structural development cycle of the vehicle, from concept design to final integration, supervising a team of engineering students and working closely with the heads of the electronic and software subsystems.
I served as Project Manager for the payload design in the EuRoC Competition 2023/2024, actively collaborating with the Sapienza Rocket Team to develop innovative and cutting-edge solutions in the aerospace sector. My responsibilities included overseeing the payload design process, coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with technical requirements, and integrating the payload with the overall rocket system. I also contributed to testing, validation, and documentation to guarantee mission readiness and performance.
