Ettore Milesi

I am a senior year student at the International School of Como with a strong passion for aviation and complex machinery, aiming to pursue a career in aerospace engineering. My teaching experience leading an MUN club has developed my communication and teamwork skills. With internship experience at both Embraer and Zanzottera Technologies, I have developed practical skills in aviation systems and internal combustion engines. Having lived in four countries (Italy, US, Philippines, Kazakhstan), I am culturally adaptable and fluent in both Italian and English (C2), with conversational proficiency in Spanish. I am driven by a deep curiosity for engineering challenges and am eager to apply my multilingual and international background to further my studies and career in the aerospace industry.

I have been an avid downhill mountain biking enthusiast for over four years, competing in various events and traveling extensively across the Alps and Dolomites to pursue my passion for adventure and adrenaline. Additionally, I have been skiing since the age of six, specializing in freestyle skiing, where I enjoy exploring new, uncharted routes and crafting my own lines in fresh snow. Recently, I have also been perfecting tricks such as the backflip on jumps.

Beyond outdoor sports, I have a long-standing passion for aviation, automotive, and railway industries. I have a dedicated collection of hundreds of models, including aircraft, motorsport cars, and trains. Furthermore, I am an active member of a 100-strong group responsible for operating a 1/87 scale model railway layout, which features a track length of over 100 meters. Our group showcases this creation at multiple expos across Italy, including the annual Hobby Model Expo in Verona.
