The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) logistics base at Djibouti Port works as the hub for the storage and transportation of humanitarian goods across the Horn of Africa. The 40,000 sq. m logistics base offers containerized, bulk, breakbulk and non-food items (NFI) storage services. In 2017, WFP moved approximatively 200,000 metric tons of food through the Djibouti port.
