Dynamic Warehouse Coordinator with proven expertise at Sephora Italy in optimizing logistics operations and enhancing supplier management. Skilled in KPI monitoring and data analysis, I successfully led a seamless 3PL transition while fostering team collaboration. My strategic planning abilities and commitment to safety compliance drive operational excellence and client satisfaction.
As a Warehouse Coordinator at Sephora, I quickly took ownership of the inbound flow and stock accuracy, ensuring a smooth and efficient receiving process. After successfully optimizing these core functions, I expanded my responsibilities to include invoice control and KPI monitoring for both our 3PL and external suppliers. Notably, I implemented a new monitoring system to assess supplier delivery quality, providing valuable insights beyond standard KPIs.
During the 3PL transition, I played a key role in building and executing the warehouse transfer and startup of the new facility. This involved sharing existing procedures, drafting new ones, and actively participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate the EDI flow and data mapping between SAP and the new Warehouse Management System (WMS). I also orchestrated the creation and monitoring of transfer orders to ensure a seamless transition from the old 3PL to the new one. Post-implementation, I collaborated closely with the new 3PL to ensure operational alignment with Sephora's requirements and workflows. This experience significantly enhanced my project management skills, particularly in time management and coordinating diverse project aspects.
Furthermore, I served as a backup for team members, gaining experience in transportation management (both domestic and international) and e-commerce logistics, demonstrating my versatility and adaptability within the supply chain.
From January 1, 2019, following comprehensive training from my predecessor, I assumed full responsibility for all logistics operations within my department. In this role, I honed the following skills:
Hired by FM Logistic as a Shift Leader following the acquisition of a new client in the cosmetics sector. I actively participated in the startup phase, developing procedures and guidelines for all warehouse operations.
Following the launch, my primary responsibility was to coordinate all warehouse activities during my shift, including inbound processing, storage, inventory management, order fulfillment, retail preparation, e-commerce preparation, returns processing, and outbound shipping. I supervised up to 60 personnel per shift. This role provided me with in-depth knowledge of all warehouse procedures.
As a Logistics Operator at DHL's Corteolona facility (through a cooperative), I performed various warehouse tasks utilizing light forklift equipment and handheld scanners with the INCAS system to ensure product traceability throughout the workflow. I also used CodeSoft software to create barcode labels, a task I have performed since 2015, being responsible for printing identification labels. In 2016, I completed both a Supervisor Training course and a First Aid certification course, passing the final assessments in both. Since late 2016, I have also served as the department supervisor, responsible for addressing client requests and organizing daily operations to meet those needs.
