As laboratory manager, I am responsible for organizing and managing the work of the team, made up of four operators.

I manage customer color development requests and chemical tests.
I engineer the color by combining chemical products and dyes, creating the recipes then used in production.

By carrying out laboratory tests, I manage and resolve for the non-conformities and defects obtained during the production cycle

I provide support and consultancy to the Research and Development department regarding the industrialization of new developments.

I carry out research activities regarding the improvement of production processes and the chemical products used, both from an environmental and qualitative point of view.

I manage contacts with suppliers of all chemical products, auxiliaries and dyes. I evaluate the ecology and safety characteristics of new products.

I am the Bluesign certification manager for the company.

In recent years I have conducted scientific research on the release of microplastics into the environment from warp-knitted fabrics (in collaboration with CNR of Biella) and research aimed at the use of natural dyes on synthetic fibers.
