• I was born in a multi-cultural environment: I grew-up in Europe and in the continental U.S. as a multilingual person: native speaking of English and Spanish (and Italian), I learned and practiced French throughout my life. I am open-minded, strong-willed and imaginative. I always wanted to see more, learn more, understand more. My background was already nudging me towards an international career: in the past fifteen years, I worked in Northern and Eastern Europe and in between, I spent a decade in the Gulf region of the Middle East. I feel it is extremely important to improve my knowledge not only in my original academic path of studies, but also in the fields of Project Management, Cybersecurity and Financial Technology Innovations.
• I have matured significant professional experiences in the shipping business with Maersk Line, in the mechanical constructions with Alstom, in the security and communications technology fields with Thales, in the engineering of strategic infrastructures with Spea, and in the defense and cybersecurity business with Leonardo. I have acquired a greater sense of personal responsibility in doing my job to the best of my ability.: the Contract Manager is usually a “solo player”, who focuses on the practical delivery of the required results. However, when deployed in the field, especially within a so-called “giga-project”, one must admit his limits in operating on his own: I have matured the capability to structure and handle a complex team. • I have a flair for Naval and Military history. It started with a child's fascination for the age of sail and developed into a study of my family's history during World War II. I went back to the Revolutionary Wars and became an enthusiast of the Admiralty Law. In the process, I became a reader of and a contributor to "Sea Power", Navy League of United States' publication, as well as of "Proceedings" of the Naval Institute. I enjoy reading the classics and learning new languages. In the last few years, I have developed a keen interest in geopolitics and studied its discipline.,
