In order to ensure clean datasets for model training and testing, he had to efficiently handle and preprocess a large company database that contained operational data from more than 20,000 heat pumps. He put machine learning and regression models into practice for predicting heat pump performance and anomaly detection to find and fix errors in the system. When comparing model-predicted results with real operational data, his input in data analysis, model construction, and final result interpretation was essential. All things considered, his commitment has aided the goals of the Fraunhofer Institute for Energy Economics and Energy System Technology, demonstrating his skills and adaptability throughout the traineeship.
