In the occasion of EXPO 2020 DUBAI,Italy`s Commissioner General for EXPO 2020 DUBAI promoted an international student Digital Challenge on the themes and challenges of future education (FUTURE EDUCATION, RETHINKING EDUCATION FOR A WORLD CHANGE). All admitted students were involved in a team project acceleration path that saw them at work in the digital arena for four weeks. The goal was to imagine,propose and experiment with innovative solutions able to rethinking the future of education with courage and foresight. Also for this reason, the initiative had been included in the UNESCO Futures of Education framework and represents a bridge between Italy and the next world education summit to be held during Expo 2020 #RewirEd

It`s a simulation of the G7 negotiations consisting of a division of students into 7 Commissions representing 7 different countries. At the end of the project, each Commission present a position paper concerning a representation as well as a list of solutions to a specific phenomenon. The undersigned belonged to the Commission of France addressing the issue of climate change. This Commission managed to reach the final by winning the second place in the standings.

The Hackathon involved 60 students from ten secondary schools from all over the country. A real challenge to develop innovative ideas on one of the main resources of our Italian country: the sea. It was the first international hackathon, all in English, born with the aim of enhancing the hidden potential of the Mediterranean Sea and the European coasts.
