Group Credit Controller&Reporter Senior Specialist

Currently, I am responsible for Controlling & Reporting activities for Accounts Receivable (hereinafter referred to as “AR”) at the Group level (Revenue: >€3,000 million | 70 Group Subsidiaries | 40 Countries).


My main activities include:

  • Supervising the managerial reporting process for AR (monthly frequency)
  • Analyzing AR KPIs (i.e., DSO, overdue ratio, Bad Debt Fund coverage index) and sharing monthly reports with key stakeholders (Group CFOs, Subsidiaries CFOs, Area Controllers) to understand performance/variances at all business dimensions (Group/Divisions/Areas/Markets) versus Targets and versus the previous year, identifying drivers/areas of concern to plan corrective actions
  • Setting targets for the main corporate AR KPI (i.e. DSO) for each business dimension (Group/Divisions/Areas/Markets)
  • Establishing Group policies and manuals in the AR domain (“Bad Debt Fund policy” - based on “Expected Credit Losses” in alignment with IFRS 9, “Credit Limit Assignment policy,” “Accounting Manual” related to AR, “Procedure for credit insurance management”)
  • Supervising and supporting the daily activities of subsidiaries to ensure alignment with Group policies (in terms of Credit Management and accounting processes)
  • Analyzing and managing overdue positions
  • Supporting SAP implementation processes (SD and FI modules) for subsidiaries not yet on the system

During my experience at KPMG, my activities focused on Finance Transformation projects in the banking/insurance sector, within Financial Services.


I primarily managed projects related to:

  • Financial Regulatory Framework (Pillar III, FINREP, ESG reporting) for some of the leading Italian banking groups (i.e., Credem, MPS, ISP)
  • Implementation of international accounting principles (IFRS 9, for one of the leading Italian insurance companies - Reale Mutua - and IFRS 15 for a corporate entity in the energy sector - Optima)
  • Rationalization of the Group Chart of Accounts for one of the main Italian banking groups (ICCREA Group)
