I started cycling relatively late, in 1995, 32 yo. I rode road bicycle mainly in the weekends, in my region of origin, Romagna, as well as in some of the areas where I went for work, (South Tyrol, Midi-Pyrénée, Comunidad Valenciana). I participated at some "GranFondo" (NoveColli, DieciColli, TreCime, etc.).
In 2016 I started riding with a gravel bike, discovering different paths and longer distances. I participated at some Randonneè (London Edinbourgh London, Munich-Ferrara, etc.); gravel events (Veneto Gravel, South Tyrol Trail, Tuscany Gravel, Tuscany Trail, etc.); self-organized group travels (Istria, Tuscany, North Italy, etc.); self-organized solo travel (Austria, Germany, Nederland, Croatia, etc.).
I started photograph in my teen age, with a "analog" camera. Actually I own two digital cameras, one small mirrorless and a bigger reflex that I often use when I ride on bike. I like to make reportage of my travels/events, taking pictures of the places I visit (mountain, sea, landscapes, historical and attractive architectures, cities), of the people I met and the people I am with.
I listen music, classical, rock, pop, ethnic, folk, country, soft-jazz.
