Summary

I am a PhD Candidate in the Science of Civil Economy at LUMSA University in Rome, having earned my MSc in Economics and Management with summa cum laude honors at LUMSA University in Palermo.

As a Visiting Scholar, I contributed to the Faculty of Theology and Religious Sciences at KU Leuven in Belgium. Currently, I am on the verge of completing my doctoral studies, and in March 2024, I will be defending my thesis. I have conducted extensive archival research in renowned institutions in Naples, Rome, Bologna, Brussels and Leuven. Particularly, the Historical Archives of Naples, Rome and Leuven, the National Library of Naples Vittorio Emanuele III, the Central National Library of Rome, the Archive of the MONT-DE-PIÉTÉ of Brussels, the Universiteitsbibliotheek en bibliotheektoren of Leuven and the Historical Archive of Monte del Matrimonio in Bologna. This research has enriched my understanding and provided valuable insights into the intricate intersections of economic, historical, and gender-related phenomena. My commitment to advancing knowledge in these areas is evident in my academic journey, marked by a passion for exploration. My research spans the realms of History of Economic Thought, Economic History, History of Finance, Franciscan Economics, Civil Economy and Gender studies.
