
Giuseppe Nardo, MD, is a Medical Oncology resident at the Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori (INT), Milan, Italy. He graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome in 2022. His research focuses on translational cancer immunotherapy, with particular interest in adoptive cell therapies, and his current interest is to develop innovative immune-based approaches to overcome resistance mechanisms in solid tumors. In the year 2026-2027 his training period at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill (USA), under the supervision of dr Gianpietro Dotti will further enrich his technical lab skills and his preclinical research experience in order to pursue an MD-PhD after termination of residency in oncology, with the aim of becoming a physician scientist.
