In 2007 I had the possibility to start up the industrialization process for ready to wear starting with womens wear and later possessing mens wear

My current role is ‘’GG engineering industrialization manager’’

I industrialize the following products : dresses, shirts, pants, jackets, outerwear, formal tailoring, tshirts, underwear, denim, knitwear, fake fur, leather, swimwear and jersey such as sportswear Currently I manage a team of 11 people who are divided between menswear and womenswear where I coordinate the guide the industrialization process for all products

I am present at all reviews of the sample collection with design and merchandise to establish fit , and process design requests for eventual changes for production The importance to maintain image for production

Check manufacturing techniques that have been asked from design in the sample collection if costly propose solutions that can work for production

Ensure that prints have been studied for sizing development working with the 3D team to problem solve volumes so that sizing is not blocked for merchandising and production

Collaboration with merchandising for imput with regards to commercial product additions and design to maintain the initial image

Industrialization is brought forward with my decision to decide which garments are to be pre launched for production fittings in collaboration with merchandising master order and fabric pre order to give priority later for production launch

Various grid preparations for easy access fro all departments for the state of a collection for eventual necessity to launch

Co ordination with all areas of the team to ensure that the same size grading is used for all categories of RTW, size grading is further discussed or variated with regards to the type of product

I am present at technical production fittings with internal pattern cutters and external services

Planning

Timing is established following the sample collection as soon as it is released and regulated if there are anticipated requests from production when it is necessary to launch in anticipation

Collaboration with technicians to establish quality and manufacturing levels and eventual problem solving of garment construction to then establish necessary finishings to the collection

Additional

Coordination with compliance for our brand label, composition and labelling placements for all products to travel correctly through customs worldwide and ensure that the production in store has the same internal imprinting

Define delivery methods for every single product for travelling in store

Legal: collaboration with our internal legal department to testify and verify fake garments, this is carried out with our created digital storage of past collections

Garment care/All products are valuated with all departments to decide the final ‘’care’’ indication for clients
