Iacopo Sbrolli

I teach mathematics and physics in the largest secondary school in Livorno, Liceo Statale Francesco Cecioni, which hosts more than 2,000 pupils. Our Liceo includes artistic, humanities, linguistic, and scientific courses.

I am deeply fond of my students; to make sure that learn as much as possible, I usually create extensive multimedia teaching materials which include:

• Animations
• Audio and video files
• Interactive figures

I also work in the physics laboratory, where I learned how to set up experiments about the following subjects:

• Classical and wave mechanics
• Thermodynamics
• Classical electromagnetism.

Apart from the usual teaching activities, I am usually involved in a plurality of projects and events, such as:

• Writing theater plays about physics
• Producing interactive simulators
• Participating in an annual cultural showcase of Liceo Statale Francesco Cecioni's scientific school, and so on.

I was also the official mentor of a new mathematics and physics teacher, to make sure that he could feel at home and that he could have a reliable professional support.

I taught mathematics and physics at I.S.I.S. del Rosso - Da Verrazzano, a secondary school which includes a Liceo, that is, the Italian equivalent of the British grammar school, and three technical or professional colleges.
