- Welcomed guests and clients in an upbeat and friendly manner.
My role in this job was mostly to check-in and welcome the guests upon their arrival and advise them on the best attractions to visit while in Rome.
As I achieved a high school diploma in languages, I could do it in three different languages: English, French, and Spanish.
Within the school-work activity, I assisted the director in the school theater show preparation: managing the lights, the music, the ins and outs of the actors, the psychological assistance of the team, and setting up the scene.
I brought a French and Norwegian group of students around Rome to show them the most popular monuments of the city: the Trevi's Fountain, the Pantheon area, the Colosseum, and the St. Peter's Church.
All that in two languages: English for the Norwegian group and French for the French group.
. I've organized and supervised the two groups in activities such as lunch break and tour.
. I've been enthusiastic and available for any type of question, need, or curiosity that the classes had about the tour.
.
Within the school-work activity, I've been a volunteer for the Sant'Egidio charity association, providing assistance to old people recovering in a retirement house in Rome.
My role was to take care of them, making food and giving them company, playing games with them and participating in important ceremonies such as the Sunday Mass.
