Viola Playing
I have played the viola for almost my entire life. Now that I have completed my studies, it is a hobby that helps me express myself and clarify my thoughts, as well as share quality time with friends in chamber music rehearsals or amateur orchestras.
Projects
Lysistrata Translation Workshop, The MIUR 2021 Departments of Excellence Initiative gave students from the FICLIT Department the opportunity to organize activities, lectures and workshops. A group of female students in Classical Philology, coordinated by Prof. Lucia Floridi, obtained funding to organize a workshop on the translation of Aristophanes' Lysistrata. The workshop was held between January and May 2022, in ten face-to-face meetings of 2 hours each, in a classroom of the Department. The goal was to achieve a collective and integral translation of the work through group work and collegial discussion. Scientific Pubication
In the spring of 2025, an article of mine, written in collaboration with a scholar from my university (Dr. L. Nardulli), will be published in a scientific journal of the University of Barcelona (Transfer, https://revistes.ub.edu/index.php/transfer). The article, titled "Chronicles of an Experiment: A Collegiate Translation of Lysistrata," describes the methods and results of the Greek translation workshop I organized and conducted in 2022 at the University of Bologna.
