Collects an outline study about the F-404-GE-400 and Volvo RM12 aircraft thrusters by conducting thermodynamic cycle sizing of both.
From this we proceed to the analysis of characteristic parameters, investigating dependencies on factors such as, bypass ratio and efficiencies for the relevant macro-areas of interest.
Next, we focus the analysis on the study of the fan, examining, under different flight and design conditions, the performance of the components of the velocity vectors within the fan itself.
