I graduated in Human Nutrition Sciences from San Raffaele University, Rome, Italy. Throughout my academic path I acquired relevant knowledge and applicative skills in the nutritional field including: developing dietary regimes for healthy individuals to improve their overall well-being; designing optimal diets for communities, such as cafeterias and sports teams; building food charts and specific diets which are appropriate for established pathological conditions. Such academic path builds on the competencies acquired during the three-year degree in Agro-Industrial Biotechnologies earned at La Sapienza University of Rome. As a result, I acquired significant competencies which are specific to the nutritional field, namely: understanding foods characteristics, including their chemical-nutritional composition, foods components' chemical and biological modificatons as well as labeling and foods storage and preservation; devising microbiological techniques applied in the agro-food field; mastering physics, chemistry and biology-related elements characterizing foods supply chains, along the entire production cycle from raw materials/commodities to their transformation into staples and edibles; introducing the main food supplements into diets, calibrating their use in the prevention and treatment of chronic degenerative diseases as well as for promoting the body's well-being more generally . I have developed a keen interest in personal health and holistic well-being as well as a strong passion for human nutrition and agro-business biotechnologies: my personal conviction, together with the formal training received and work practice, make me well-suited to apply such wealth of knowledge and practical experience to every area concerning health care.
I worked as a nutritional biologist, developing personalized diets for patients based on their clinical pathology
Placed with the Quality Assurance System Department and supporting the functional manager, I looked after the arrangements for the proper functioning and maintenance of the local Quality System, ensuring full compliance at all times with GMP requirements prescribed by international/national regulatory authorities as well as with corporate standards
