As a Manufacturing Process & Tools Specialist, I'm leading the digital transformation of manufacturing operations by designing and implementing a Composable Enterprise strategy. My primary responsibility is leading the MES 4.0 project, ensuring seamless integration of manufacturing execution systems with enterprise platforms to enable agility, scalability, and data-driven decision-making across the company.

• Strategy & Architecture
  Define and execute the roadmap for a Composable Enterprise in manufacturing operations.
  Align MES 4.0 implementation with corporate digital transformation goals.
  Ensure interoperability between ERP, PLM, SCM, and shop-floor systems.
• Project Leadership
  Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of MES 4.0.
  Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DT, Supply Chain, Quality) to ensure adoption.
  Manage project milestones, budgets, and stakeholder communication.
• Process Optimization
  Standardize manufacturing processes and tools across plants.
  Introduce best practices in digital manufacturing, automation, and Industry 4.0.
  Monitor KPIs such as OEE, lead time reduction, and production efficiency.
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement
  Evaluate emerging technologies (IoT, AI, digital twins) for integration into MES.
  Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  Act as subject matter expert for manufacturing digitalization initiatives.

• Selected as part of a distinguished global team of academics, consultants, and industry practitioners in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution.
• Contributed to the development of the APICS Operations Management Body of Knowledge by defining examination content, authoring the Exam Content Manual, and reviewing/validating test items.
• Collaborated with cross-disciplinary experts to ensure the examination reflects current industry standards, best practices, and emerging trends in logistics and supply chain management.

• Directed material management for Balance of Plant (BOP) and Material Shipped Directly (MSD) across Turbomachinery Solutions (TMS) and Downstream Technology Solutions (DTS), overseeing a team of 10 employees.
• Ensured end-to-end process efficiency — from planning through execution to customer delivery — safeguarding revenue and contribution margin (CM) targets.
• Managed BOP operations representing ~30% of total margin, delivering $900M in revenue and $200M in CM in 2014.
• Applied Lean Six Sigma methodologies to streamline and consolidate processes, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Implemented a new production control system ensuring 100% traceability and accountability across all material flows.
• Partnered with Sourcing, Finance, and Engineering to rationalize Bills of Material (BOM) for dropshipment materials, enhancing cost efficiency and accuracy.
• Championed automation initiatives to maximize productivity and reduce manual intervention across logistics and production control.

• Directed operational support across two plants, overseeing maintenance of workshop assets (NC machine tools, assembly workplaces), cutting tools assembly & presetting, MRO warehousing, fixtures design, and production line P&E projects (installations/refurbishments averaging €10M annually).
• Led a team of 21 employees and 50+ contractors, ensuring seamless execution of maintenance and production support activities.
• Increased maintenance efficiency through Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), establishing the foundation for a structured Maintenance Engineering Team.
• Spearheaded the redesign of presetting and MRO warehouses (2009–2010) by insourcing activities and applying Lean Six Sigma, achieving significant efficiency gains and cost optimization.
