As a Field Service Engineer, I act as a specialized technical figure serving pharmaceutical companies. I have experience in installation, qualification and technical assistance at different stages within the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector, following projects sometimes even long and complexes with international customers. I have got, besides, relationships and management capabilities, I am used to work independently but also in a team. I have strong communication skills and client management, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
As a Field Service Engineer, I install and configure a wide range of software developed by the company. This role requires excellent troubleshooting skills and IT competencies, it is necessary to know how to work under pressure, respecting deadlines and collaborate with various team around the world.
My activities include:
- Installation and configuration of SEA Vision software application to manage batches and data collection during production interfacing with machines PLC/OPC Servers through DA/UA protocols, in order to retrieve the necessary information, using sometimes thirdly party software like UA Expert or Siemens Simatic
- Configuration of serialization and full track and trace workflow at different stages (L1-L2-L3 and L4). From the configuration of serialized data request, to the production recipe and final serialization and track and trace production information communication to L4 , everything according to the GS1 standards and market requirements
- Installation and configuration of Vision inspection system on production line in order to verify product quality, serialization and track and trace data, and programmable measurements for various control required by the customer on the product
- Managing ed executing SQL queries on SQL Server Databases
- Software Integration with Enterprise solution to manage batch processes and information (MES, ERP)
- Execution of software validation activities (CSV) both on OEM factories (FAT) and on customer site (SAT)
- Assistance to customer during production, providing troubleshooting on existence solutions, consulting about further and customized implementation related to manufacturing optimization, training about our software solutions
- Tight collaboration with project manager and coordinators in order to help them face with tailor made projects and customized customer requests
- Support commercial Department about quotations for new installation on OEM machine
Mostly all the activities require intensive travels to customer site around the world.
