I worked in a senior home. I would take care of the elderly in their basic needs. Here I would find people with with different grade of autonomy

In this period of time I worked in few blocks operatory. I worked along with the warehouse and the head nurse to provide the equipments for the surgeries. I would follow the direction of my experienced colleagues and learn how to list the different tool with a specific program.

my main job was to unload and check the upcoming tools.

After taking my certification I found a job as nurse assistant in a Senior Home. I was employed by Aurora cooperative but I would work fisically in the residence.

My main job was to provide for the elderly and disabled people that were living in the home.

Included to my first practice as a student I had some experience in a Hospital. Here I would learn more about the sanitary procedures besides the basic assistance. I would practice the ECG, the vitals and I would be part of a team work, working aside experienced nurse assistants and Registered Nurses.

For the completition of my studies as nurse assistant, I was required to do a period of practice in the field. In this time I worked in shifts of mornings and afternoons in a private institution for disabled and elderly people. In particular, I was sent in a closed department for patience suffering from Alzheimer's disease. This was for me a good opportunity to learn about the sign, the behaviors that this kind or other form of dementia can bring and how to approach, communicate with the patient.
