- Strategic legal counsel, advising on all aspects of transport law, administrative law (participation in public and private tenders), corporate law, M&A (corporate restructuring, acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures) and civil law to all the Companies (n. 14) of Contship Italia Group, compliance with existing governance and commercial agreements.
- Engagement with external stakeholders and Public Authorities to support business objectives and institutional relations (i.e. Port Authority of the Eastern Ligurian Sea, Customs and Monopolies Agency, Prefecture, Metropolitan Cities, Municipalities and other Public Administrations).
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating all types of contracts for the Group Companies operating in the road, rail and maritime transport, logistics, supply chain and warehousing sectors.
- Management and monitoring of ongoing legal cases across all Companies of the Group. Coordination of external law firms, both Italian and foreign, in defining the best defence strategies, preparing legal appeals, complaints and pleadings in administrative, civil and criminal proceedings.
- Supervision of risk management to ensure the timely acquisition of authorizations/operational permits for international projects.
- Internal member of the Supervisory Boards of the holding Company, Contship Italia S.p.A., and Hannibal S.r.l.
- Head of the Group Claims Office, responsible for the management and coordination of insurance and liability claims across all Companies of the Contship Italia Group, liaising with insurers, loss adjusters and external legal counsel.
- Assistance to the Data Protection Officer for the Companies of Contship Italia Group, in order to align them with the provisions of the European Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, UE 2016/679).
- Responsible as “Whistleblowing Manager” for all the Companies of Contship Italia Group.
