Currently I am covering the Team Leader position for the Deep Silicon Dry Etching group.

Some of the activities I deal with:

• Leading engineering activities to focus on hold lots analysis, identify root causes (i.e. process/hardware drifts, integration issues or process marginalities) and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• To manage the process engineering team leading and planning their activities and improving their competencies and know how.
• To guarantee a proper working environment by taking into account the primary importance of personal relationship among teammates promoting the professional growth of all collaborators.
• Managing the process engineering activities to achieve high level of performance in terms of quality, yield, production volumes and costs through the continue improvement programs on process robustness and the equipment performances optimizations.
• To ensure total support to manufacturing in the resolution of daily issues and to reach and maintain stably its KPI’s.
• External audit responsible for my technical team.

I was part of the Deep Silicon Dry Etch engineering group.

Some of the activities I took part:

• Providing daily inline production support activities to ensure compliance with the main production fab quality and production KPI (Wo/W, WFY and defectivity).
• Collaborating with the maintenance group in order to manage the recovery of production etching equipment to reduce down time impact identifying root causes and preventive actions.
• Manage the inline transfer of new products for the relevant silicon etch product steps.
• Qualification of new silicon etch equipment to satisfy the fab production ramp-up request. In particular, managing the project since move-in to supplier relations and tool qualification.
• Improvement activities to support the production line.
• Manage internal process changes using the FMEA methodology. Manage the implementation phase from the initial request, to the involvement of the interested parties, the organization of the action plan, the monitoring until the closure of the process.

I was involved in project/process engineering activities at Villadossola site. In particular, managed the project of installation of flanges against the leakage of flammable liquids from chemical transport pipes.
