Profilo professionale

Passionate and motivated Mechanical Engineering graduate from Politecnico, currently pursuing a Master's degree in Mechatronics and Robotic Engineering. I possess a strong technical foundation in mechanical design, kinematic and dynamic analysis, and manufacturing, along with proficiency in modeling and simulation software essential for complex mechatronic systems. Beyond my technical expertise, I've developed my problem-solving skills as a tutor for high school students. Additionally, working as a waiter has equipped me with strong communication skills, autonomy, and the ability to thrive under stress. My background as a national-level athlete and recipient of a sports merit scholarship has further instilled in me resilience, discipline, and a competitive spirit. I am eager to take on new challenges and immerse myself in exciting experiences which lead to personal and professional growth.

Attività

  • - Bicycle Wheel Spoke pre-tensioning Analysis using FEA and MATLAB to avoid the collapse of the rim.
  • - Gear Reducer Design with structural validation through FEA and CATIA: the aim was to modify internal components to endure stress due to an increase of power flow.
  • - Worm gear box analysis: stress analysis of the worm and 3D projecting of the cover. Where I played as team leader.

Hobby e interessi

Beyond my professional and academic pursuits, I am an avid reader with interests ranging from dystopian fiction to classic literature I consider sports and outdoor activities an essential part of my daily routine, embracing the philosophy of mens sana in corpore sano Naturally outgoing, I highly value socializing and expanding my network, and I am always eager to step out of my comfort zone to engage in new cultural and technical experiences

project

  • Structural Analysis of Bicycle Wheels: I modeled the spokes as cable-stayed structures to determine the optimal pretension required for structural integrity.
  • Gear Reducer Redesign: For my final project, I analyzed and modified a gear reducer to enable it to sustain higher operating loads and new working conditions.
  • Developed a structural optimization algorithm in MATLAB to enhance the performance of a motorcycle truss frame. The primary objective was to solve a multi-objective problem: minimizing structural compliance to maximize the frame's overall stiffness, while simultaneously minimizing its total weight.
  • Expanded and implemented the classic "99-line" topology optimization algorithm in MATLAB for three-dimensional structures. The project focused on generative design, efficiently distributing material within a 3D control volume to minimize compliance under strict volume and weight fraction constraints.
  • Designed and optimized a suspension hub carrier (upright) for a high-efficiency prototype race car competing in the Shell Eco-marathon. The project utilized a Simulink-driven workflow to guide a multi-objective structural optimization, focusing on minimizing compliance and mass while strictly adhering to real-world production limits.
  • Developed and trained a computer vision model using the Roboflow platform to automate the quality inspection of laser-cut aluminum parts. The AI system was designed to visually assess sheet metal components, classifying them by quality and accurately identifying and measuring specific manufacturing defects.
