Through my reading of geopolitical issues, I have to the understanding that there is a clear shift of economic influence especially on the African continent. China is having a huge impact on the economic decisions and political alignment in Africa.

The struggle for strategic mineral resources is real and hence some of the conflicts erupting in Africa which seem to be proxy.
