During my time in the laboratory, I have led and collaborated on several innovative projects . These experiences have honed my expertise in a wide range of advanced laboratory techniques and analytical methods.

Laboratory techniques and instrumentation:

• Tissue sectioning & cryostat work
• Western blotting ( WB)
• Immunohistochemistry (IHC) with densitometric analysis
• Immunofluorescence (IF)
• Multiplex immunoassays
• Histochemical staining (hematoxylin and eosin, Masson's trichrome, oil red O)
• DNA/RNA extraction and purification for qPCR Real-time PCR and gene expression analysis
• Assessment of mitochondrial and genomic DNA integrity
• Mitochondrial function assays (ATP production)
• RNAscope in situ hybridisation (ISH)

Advanced imaging techniques:

• Confocal microscopy Electron microscopy (SEM, TEM)

Data analysis / Statistical data analysis:

• MO Office, ImageLab, QuPath,
• Proficient in using advanced statistical software

This research experience not only deepened my technical skills, but also improved my ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary and multicultural teams. I have developed a strong awareness of my abilities, my learning agility and, most importantly, of myself. A strong 'can do' mentality, strong problem-solving skills and a meticulous approach to data analysis and interpretation are essential for advancing scientific understanding and therapeutic innovation in a constantly evolving field..

An experience that helped me to clearly understand what I want and what I don't want:

My experience in pharmacy has been highly formative, giving me the opportunity to translate years of study into practice and to deepen my understanding of the world of work. Direct contact with patients allowed me to appreciate the importance of professionalism, listening and constant updating to provide quality care and services. At the same time, this experience has helped me better understand my own path: while recognising the value of what I have learnt, I have realized that my true passion lies in contexts where I can explore new challenges, continue to learn and contribute with my commitment and curiosity.
