Responsible for leading all local Supply Chain and Logistics operations, ensuring service excellence, operational efficiency, full alignment with corporate standards, and cost-effectiveness across warehouse, distribution, transportation, and supply chain planning activities. The role guarantees that end‑to‑end processes—from inbound to outbound—are executed at high performance levels to support business continuity, customer satisfaction, and financial targets.

Lead, coach, and develop local SCM & Logistics teams, ensuring capabilities, training, and performance are aligned with strategic objective

Oversee local warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, correct process execution, adequate service levels, and compliance with business needs, in line with responsibilities described for functions reporting to the Head of SCM & Logistic

• Responsible for European distribution, both from a demand planning and from a logistic point of view. Management of the central warehouses & transportation, for a total of 60 resources.
• SKUs managed in our distribution centers are +11.000, Vendors +1.500.
• To manage this complexity, I have implemented KPIs & Reports to constantly monitor operations- Warehouse layout and space optimization are monitored as well.
• KPIs, metrics and reports have been implemented to monitors and keep under control also stock levels and inventory turnover. Out of Stocks, Inventory Coverage have been improved thru action put in place and measured. Design and development of MRP system (Material Requirements Planning).
• I have managed the introduction of a new WMS (Warehouse Management System), from the analysis and design of the solution, till the training of the resources involved and the ‘go live’ of the solution itself.
• Design and implementation of KPIs and metrics to support other department such as buyers team.
• Others duty: Development of project aimed to control and minimize logistic costs. Management of RFQ to select logistic partner to support new shops opening thru Europe

• Managing the entire RFQ process issued by the potential client, with the aim to provide the most fitting solution, in terms of warehouse footprint, warehouse locations and distribution service/network.
• Documentation and data analysis to calculate resources, space, equipment, IT and transport solution to offer.
• Participating to site inspection to gather information and to client meeting to present the solution developed both from a technical and commercial point of view.
• Verify and guarantee contractual terms negotiation, taken into account both the client satisfaction both the respect of the profitability of the business case developed for the project.

• Distribution center for Hi-tech products.
• Management of internal optimization projects and projects developed upon specific customer requests. Projects tracking. Customer relation management. Quarterly and yearly forecast in terms of revenue and volume to process. Support to Operation and Engineering team to plan new product launches, staff planning in relation to workload.
• Draft and design of automated solutions for order fulfillment.

• Review, analyze and execute processes and layout improvements for the Italian pharmaceutical distribution center in Rome and Milan for a total of 55,000 SQM.
• Review process specifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of procedures and activities; apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine logistic processes, staff requirements, and operational excellence.
• Estimate operational cost and effect of operational design changes to meet business plans, draft and design of logistic warehouse and process flows to illustrate maximum efficiency utilization. Support on new customer implementation, investment and layout reviews.
• Analysis and support for automation of warehouse processes (Sorter, Pick to light..). During this experience, I trained and managed two analysts.

• Control, organize and manage Inbound & Pick, Pack Ship operations according SLA-KPIs, for the Milan healthcare distribution center (15.000 SQM, 40 resources to manage). Key contact for the clients (Bayer, Roche). Daily reports, internal/external communication & warehouse optimization.
• Design and set up of forward picking area. Support to quality team to establish specific procedures for cold chain processes. Management of destruction process of pharmaceutical products and reverse logistic. Yearly inventories organization and set up of procedures of cycle counting

• Supervision and control of the warehouse flows. Management of a dedicated team (12 resources)
