Michele Mancini

I am a Senior Project Manager with 5+ years experience in utility-scale renewable energy.

I have been working in complex and often under-structured environments, where project success depends on the ability to manage undertinty, align multiple sakeholders, and take timely decisions.

My lead starts from "italian" RtB to PAC.

Main activities are the following:

- Negotiation for main procurement (modules, inverters and trackers) and BOS/EPC.

- Coordination of secondary permitting activities.

- Coordination of internal and external stakeholder (engineering, grid connection, legal, onstite works etc..)

- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, on budget, safely and in accordance with quality standars and prescriprions.

- Managing multiple projects at different stages (currently more than 10) with 6 COD achieved in the last 2 years.

- Monitoring EPC/BOS activities.

- Coordination with advisor and bank representatives in case of project financing or selling process.

- Supporting M&A department in project acquisition.

I acted mainly as Project Manager for Solar Technical Due Diligence covering also several activities which are: cadastral analysis, land lease agreement review, permitting, constraints analysis, site assessment, technical review, grid connection, Financial Model review and main contracts (EPC, O&M, PPA etc). I have worked also in the construction monitoring (including desktop and on-site activities) of utility scale PV plant.

I belonged to the Energy Yield Team that allowed me to gain large experience in performance estimation of operative and under development PV plants. I had the chance to work on site doing test campaign (I-V curve, termography, insulation test etc..). I have been involved in revamping activities, from the feasibility study to the financing and construction.
