• Sanremo- Italy The goal of the training is to provide militaries officers, including operators and military lawyers, as well as civilian and humanitarian operators, to learn the basic principles and rules of IHL and the law of Armed conflict and to apply them. This course serves ad primers for many of specialized courses offered at the institute by providing introductory level instruction on a wide array of subjects and their interplay with IHL. This course will have a strong foundation upon which to expand the IHL knowledge and a working understanding of how IHL principles factor in to all levels of conflict and across all operational domains.

• Training of Facilitators on Humanitarian Negotiations – Center on Competence on Humanitarian Negotiation (May 2023) Completed a specialized training on facilitation in humanitarian negotiations, focused on strengthening strategic and analytical skills essential for leading negotiation processes in complex humanitarian settings. The training covered strategic planning, context and network analysis, stakeholder mapping, and the assessment of counterparts’ interests and motives. It also addressed the definition of negotiation objectives, prioritization, and the formulation of scenarios and red lines.
• Workshop on Humanitarian Negotiation- Center on Competence on Humanitarian Negotiation (Aug 2022) An interactive workshop designed to strengthen negotiation skills in humanitarian contexts. Focused on strategic planning, conducting context analyses and network assessments, understanding counterparts’ interests and motives, setting clear objectives and priorities, and defining scenarios and red lines to ensure effective and principled negotiations.
• Advanced course on Pumps ICRC (Jul 2019) Comprehensive training on hydraulic principles and pump system, covering pump types, performance curves, impellers, and piping. Focuses on centrifugal and submersible pumps, including their definition, sizing, installation, operation, maintenance, and connection methods.
• Contract Management Norwegian Red Cross (Aug 2017) Focused on the Syrian contract system, this course provides practical applications un contract management, including contracting strategies and financial management. Emphasizes hands-on learning to enhance proficiency in managing contracts effectively.
• Water and Habitat in Emergency ICRC (Apr 2016) This course provides in depth knowledge and practical skills for managing water and habitat needs in emergency situations. Topics include water trucking strategies hardware descriptions for tanks, pumps, and generators, dynamic mapping, and water quality management. It covers the installation of bladder and OXFAM system, emergency planning, and the setup of IDP centers. Participants also learn about various water treatment and pumping system, including RO units and water treatment plants, as well as solid waste and hygiene management, sludge pumps and camps sit planning.
