Summary

Language Teacher (French & Italian) | Specialist in Multicultural Education For over 20 years, I have been passionately teaching French and Italian to students of all ages and nationalities in Italy. Whether introducing poetry to advanced students or guiding beginners in their first steps in French or Italian, I strive to make language learning an exciting and meaningful discovery. Over the years, I have developed a unique teaching style, often stepping off the beaten path to experiment with innovative approaches to knowledge transmission. I am the first to avoid boredom in the classroom, so I always propose a variety of activities that balance and engage the four language skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking). In addition to classroom teaching, I organize numerous projects each year in collaboration with various cultural organizations. I also arrange language trips to France and cultural exchanges with colleagues from French-speaking countries. For example, this year, I organized an exchange with my colleague from the Lycée Français Vauban in Luxembourg for our second-year classes. These experiences bring the language to life and are highly motivating and enriching for both students and teachers. Empathy, creativity, and valuing individual differences and talents are the pillars of my educational philosophy. I believe in empowering students to take an active role in their learning process, helping them gain confidence and independence. I am always exploring new ways to grow as an educator, dedicating around 50 hours annually to professional development through seminars, courses, and workshops (not counting self-study). I am passionate about lifelong learning, particularly in the fields of personal development, philosophy, languages, history, literature, and the arts. When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy reading, hiking, singing in a choir, and planning cultural trips. I am always on the lookout for ways in which art and culture can inspire my teaching and provide my students with enriching educational experiences.
