Appointed as Catering Coordinator I was responsible to manage in complete autonomy the Site
Camp and the Canteen following the below activities listed below but not limited to:
- Verification and approval of Time Sheet for the workers
- Organization of menu in accordance with Client request assisting the Chef
- Supervision of Storekeeper and inventory
- Interface with vendor and follow up of the orders
- Weekly inspections to guarantee the respect of Safety standards
- Reporting to the Operation Manager
- Maintained extensive calendar of events and attended necessary event meetings and conference calls.
- Analyzed catering orders and liaised with staff to set up equipment, supplies and menus to meet client expectations.
- Communicated with customers to review catering goals and budget, deliver quotes and proposals, schedule event and carry out catering needs as contracted.
- Handled incoming company phone calls, addressing customer needs, concerns and deadlines to promote retention and satisfaction.
